CaddyBytes Recap: Team golf delivered another dramatic finish Sunday at TPC Louisiana as Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin held off a crowded leaderboard to capture the 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The final round alternate-shot format created plenty of pressure, with defending champions Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry trying to mount a charge but never quite finding their rhythm until a late birdie at the closing hole. Novak and Griffin stayed composed through the demanding foursomes format, highlighted by Griffin’s clutch birdie putt on the 17th hole that effectively sealed the tournament. Several teams threatened throughout the day, including strong pushes from rising young pairings and the Højgaard twins, but the leaders consistently answered when it mattered most. With steady play down the stretch, Novak and Griffin closed out the victory and celebrated their first PGA Tour win together, finishing at 27-under par to claim the Zurich Classic team title in New Orleans.
